It is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to attend the 14th Congress of APLAR to be held between July 11 – 15 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

On behalf of the Executive Committee and members of all the national societies of APLAR, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizing committee of Hong Kong Society of Rheumatology for hosting this meaningful meeting.

The last meeting, 13th APLAR Congress, concluded successfully in 2008 in Yokohama, Japan. More than 3,000 participants from 80 countries took part in this global forum.

For the past 40 years, APLAR Congress has been progressing rapidly not only in clinical practice but also in various research areas of basic and clinical medicine in the field of Rheumatology.

Undoubtedly, the 14th APLAR Congress will present outstanding scientific programs featuring many world-famous distinguished speakers in symposia of clinical trials of many new biologics, innovative researches and oral presentations, and attractive social programs for all participants. This biannual congress of APLAR will provide every attendee an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas as well as to foster friendship with each other.
