Prof. Manabu FUJIMOTO (Japan)

Manabu Fujimoto, M.D., is Associate Professor of the Department of Dermatology, Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medical Science and Kanazawa University Hospital, Ishikawa, Japan, since 2005.

He graduated and received his medical degree from the University of Tokyo in 1992, before working in institutions including University of Tokyo Hospital. In 1997-2000, he was Research Associate in the Department of Immunology, Duke University Medical Center under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Tedder. Between 2000 and 2003, he serves as Division Chief in the Department of Regenerative Medicine, Research Institute, International Medical Center of Japan.

His clinical and research interests include systemic sclerosis, autoimmunity, and B cell biology.
