Prof. Jieruo GU (China)

Prof. Jieruo Gu completed her medical education at the Sun Yat-sen Medical University in Guangzhou in 1982 and graduate school of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China at 1988 and then went on to take his post-doctoral training at the University of California, United States from Jan 1999 to Jan 2001. Today, Prof. Gu serves as Director, senior attending physician and consultant rheumatologist with the Department of Rheumatology at Third Affliliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. Currently, she is a professor of Medicine at the University and The tutor of Post-doctor and Madical doctor of the graduate school of Sun Yat-sen University. In addition, she also serves as a consultant to the State Food and Drug Administration of China.

Prof. Gu have published more than 150 articles in local and international peer-reviewed medical journals. She is the associated chief editor of the Chinese Journal of Rheumatology and served on the editorial boards of several other journals. She is also the principle investigator or consultant in several national and international clinical trials.
