

Dr. Di YU (Australia)
Di Yu carried out doctoral study with Dr. Carola G. Vinuesa
and Professor Christopher C. Goodnow in the John Curtin
School of Medical Research, where he investigated the
regulation of T-cell help to B cells in germinal centres.
He received his Ph.D. from the Australian National University
(Canberra, Australia) in 2007. He subsequently carried
out his postdoctoral research with Professor Charles R.
Mackay at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research (Sydney,
Australia), focusing on the differentiation and function
of follicular helper T cells. In 2010, he was selected
as Monash Fellow and appointed as Senior Research Fellow
by Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). His group
studies the regulation of B- and T-cell differentiation
and function, aiming to promote molecular immunotherapy.
He was awarded Franker Fenner Medal and Dewar Milne Prize
for Immunology by the Australian National University in
2008. He is also the recipient of New Investigator Award
from Australasian Society for Immunology in 2006 and Research
Awardl from Australian Society for Medical Research in
2007.
