Dr. Chi Chiu LEUNG (Hong Kong)

Dr Leung graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Hong Kong in 1983. He joined the Hong Kong government health service in 1984 and worked in a number of hospital medical / chest units. He underwent overseas training in Stanford University Medical Centre as a research fellow in pulmonary and critical care medicine in 1992. He has been working as a consultant chest physician in the Tuberculosis and Chest Service of the Department of Health since 1996. He is also chairing the Pneumoconiosis Medical Board and serving a number of councils or their committees. He is an associate editor of Respirology, and an editorial board member of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and a number of book chapters on tuberculosis and a range of other topics.
